Finding awesome vintage shoes

Shoes used to be made to last. Older styles of shoes can be repaired and rebuilt rather than just thrown out when they have a problem. The patina that develops over time gives the shoes a special charm that you just can't buy off the shelf. I like to look through thrift shops to see which vintage shoes I can find that can be repaired or worn as is. It's important to choose shoes that are actually vintage and not just 'vintage inspired' if you want a long-wearing shoe. This is a blog to help you recognise the difference between quality shoes and low quality shoes.
